I’m K. Lou, a writer born in the U.S. who came to Japan through a spiritual calling (i.e. better access to tea). I write on travel, culture, and the occasional creative piece, spurred on by my love of books. Said love began in high school, when I had a bad habit of staring into space and thought I’d carry a book around so people wouldn’t think I was a weirdo. But once the books were in front of me, I started reading, and never stopped. (Zero regrets!) I hope you’ll join me in sharing a love of the written word in its many, varied forms.
